I started my teaching career in 1983 at Faridabad. Joined Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in 1987 as PGT English and worked at various places of the country and Zonal Instutute for Education & Training Mumbai till 2009.

From 2009 to October 2021, I worked as Principal in Mumbai Region and relocated to Faridabad after retirement.
I am 2007 Cohort 1 alumna of the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Programme of Fulbright / USIEF at George Mason University, Virgenia US funded by US state department . Have attended many programmes of TEA Alumni & given presentations.
Have been involved into Teacher-Training Programmes as Resource person & Director from 2003 to 2019 and have conducted more than 25 workshop & Inservice Training Programmes in various KVS. Was instrumental in the Research study on Teachers Training Needs during my tenure at ZIET Mumbai.
Was awarded KVS National Incentive Award as Principal in 2019 by KVS.
I have a passion for writing poems in Hindi and English which I realised during my college days.My writing is inspired by mother Nature and Life’s experiences.
